Reality

by me

Now it is time to make some money for myself by myself. The way I plan to do this is undetermined, but what I do know is this:

1.  Never pay to sell someone else’s products. If they are e-books they are usually out of date and everyone else has them already. If someone is going to sell you a list then the list is probably outdated. It is surprising how much hype is out their to sell and make millions. It’s almost parasitic the way people try to sell.

2. You always need more than one website to sell. You will never sell adspace and live with just one site. Their are exceptions but they usually have a Google ranking of 5 or better.

3. You can always sell your services, but the Internet is a big place and their are probably one hundred more thinking exactly the way you are.

4. Never give up, these are what they call the salad days. Meaning salad for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

5. You get what you pay for. if it’s free, need I say more?

6. Cut throat, forget your pride and realize the only person that cares about you is you.

7. Anyone trying to sell a list of e-mail addresses is crazy. Everyone I know is on a list, unfortunately and when we receive e-mail about the next best thing. How many other people do you think have received the same thing?

8. Research. it’s all about the research and what you learn from it. Unfortunately, no-one will share the secret, in other words, if you had a clue would you give it?

9. Trial and error. if you find error after the trial, remember, try and try again.

10. I would rather be broke than work for someone and make them richer.

Exit Stage Left

by me

Today was it. I have had it with the dead end job I was at, So I put my tools away punched out and left. Now I will be broke for a little while. This sucks. But I did it to myself. All these employers out their are capitalizing on your hard work. You work and work and work. For what just to keep a roof over your head and food in your belly and that’s it. Nevermind paying bills to keep things running. By the time you get done there is a shiny nickle in your pocket, while your boss has hundreds.

I would rather be homeless and happy than busting my hump to keep someone else in a Lexus.

The problem was I would take the bus at 7 in the morning to get to work, I would always be the first one their, well besides the janitor. The guy I worked with  decided to let me know how much money he made an hour, which was about 25% more an hour. Everytime I looked at my co-worker I would see a person talking about something or watching me work, except when the owner was around then you would see a very lacadasical worker, but always looked busy. I cannot work and see people doing nothing, that drives me crazy. WTF.

Is this modern slavery? I would rather be a slave that has a little shack and a vegetable garden than be a modern slave. Lets run a comparison.

Slavery 1. Slaves where beat and whipped when they did something wrong.

Modern Slavery 1. Psychologically manipulated into believing that they have no worth or that running their own business is way to difficult for them.

Slavery 2. You where healed by family members and voodoo.

Modern Slavery 2. No free health coverage. No money your dead.

Slavery 3. The master owned your freedom.

Modern Slavery 3. Your credit score owns your freedom and affects everything (i.e. auto insurance, interest rates on credit cards, etc.).

Slavery 4. They would change your name.

Modern Slavery 4. Your name means nothing, only in the news, you are tracked by a number.

Slavery 5. You would work from sunrise to sunset.

Modern Slavery 5. you have to work from sunrise to sunset.

Slavery 6. You had sleeping quarters.

Modern Slavery 6. Sleeping quarters? that’s why you work your first shift job. Second shift is for bills and food.

The same thing between the two. The man always wins.
