The H8ers Club

I believe in protest to a point. I’m just wondering when the last time protesting actually changed something. I mean protesting against something that you do not believe in is a way of getting support, but in a society, such as the one we have today, the only way to change something is with money and a good legal team. You can bang a drum all day and still not accomplish anything, no matter how many civilians you gather.

Sure you can bring people on your side and gather support from people who know nothing of your plight, but what happens then? After everyone leaves the protest. The only people I know who can protest and make a change are unions and it is usually for changes to their contract.

I wrote a post on Ron Paul earlier and all I got were excuses of why you shouldn’t look at someones history before you vote for them. The one I like ended with nice try. Nice try what? I really didn’t mean to pick on Ron Paul, just inform people before they choose someone to back up. I won’t vote for him, because I will not compromise what I believe is right, and that is my right. I can’t wait for Michael Moore to back him up.

What does this say about the new American protester? I think it says that the people want to protest against injustice so bad that they will compromise their beliefs for any chance to protest and feel like they belong to a right cause.

I chose this title because I hear a lot of people banging drums and when you have a different opinion they just bang it louder and try to defile you as a person for having a difference of opinion. It really doesn’t affect me though, because I know how to deal with children.

I was just going through a site that I usually go through and my anti-virus went berserk. It seems someone using a server in China decided to try and infect my computer with a Trojan horse / Worm. So being the smart guy that I am I went to the sight that was referenced in my anti-virus and did some checking up on it and sure enough after the index page it seems the server was just a testing grounds for malware. The thing I found funny was after a couple of rounds of going to the server my IP was blocked. What a moron. Nice try Dinks.
