I was just watching the news tonight and was surprised to know that people are dying from tainted heparin, an anti-coagulant, we were importing from China, yes the same country that brought you the lead baby rattle and tainted pet food. Why the hell does it take people dying to get the FDA to drop the donut and get off their asses? You think they actually protect you and me? How many apologies are we going to get from this government before we get our heads out of our asses?

I just don’t get it. If I went to a restaurant and the food made me sick, I wouldn’t go back and I would tell everyone I saw about my experience and would expect the proper authorities to shut them down. I guess Americans would rather be homeless than be taken advantage of, so we go to other countries and take advantage of their poor, pretty pathetic. I love the commercial of the middle-age mom saying how she has to save money so she shops at Wal-Mart. I would love to take that mother’s kids and let them work at the camps in China making toothbrushes. Of course that would never happen, but it would slow down the propaganda machine crafted by college educated marketers. Watching half the commercials just makes me ill. They should start teaching the difference between need and want. Oops, getting off topic.

Where do we start. How about 2007 tainted consumables for 1000 Alex. We make products that are unfit for human or animal consumption and when we are caught we get the goods back and reship them. Who is China. I have read this article from the Washington Post from may 20th, 2007. It goes over just a fraction of products that the FDA found and as we both know the FDA is way undermanned compared to the volume that is coming in. Here are some fun facts for the kids.

• Did you know that you can mislabel food products and sneak them into the United States. YEAAAH
• You can break the laws of another country if you do not live in it. DYNOMITE
• People always have to die, before the United States takes action. Well the reason for this is that we have elections of the bullshitters, nothing spells PR like “I want to help the American people” and the best bullshitter wins. Totally off topic.

In the market for some wheat gluten? I know how you can save money on pet food. All you have to do is buy a can of 2007 pet food from China and boom, your pets dead. No more having to clean up messes, no more vet bills and no more worrying about your pet. Isn’t that awesome, thanks China.

Now on a serious note who is the moron who thought “Hey they are only messing up human and animal food and using crazy chemicals from the fifties in kids products. Why not have them take care of our medicine too. Forgive me if I am wrong, but isn’t that chemical warfare? It’s not like, oh yeah that was an accident, we were accidentally trying to save some money by cutting the Heparin, we didn’t think anyone would die. We are very sorry, here’s some money.

I think it’s time we stopped holding our ankles and pulled up our pants.
